This reconstruction of the life of Ann Scott, or Nan Scott as she is better known, sets out to tell the story of how a coragious widow. having lived through the turbulant times of the English Civil War, copes with distaster head on by pitting her wits against the Plague, - a desease which at its height, carried off thousands of victims at a time.
Nan's chamber, over the South Porch in St. Giles Church is still there.
