Explore the notorious highwayman, Dick Turpin life. Along a multiple day walk from Dick Turpin's birthplace, Hempstead in Essex to Thaxted where he had a cottage, which is till there. Onto Loughton where he held a woman over a fire and into Epping Forest where he had a cave. Finally into London to Rose & Crown Inn, Clay Hil,l  a family inn that he often escaped from. He then went to York under an assumed name - John Palmer, but was discovered,  arrested and hung there. His grave is in a nearby churchyard.

Allow 4 to 5 days for the walk.
